Microdermabrasion - Acne Treatment - Chemical Peel
Microdermabrasion is a process that helps smooth and refine the texture of the skin. A series of treatments are used to resurface facial skin that suffers from sun damage, the effects of aging and acne scarring. A skilled technician sprays tiny crystals across the face, combining gentle abrasion with suction to remove the damaged, dead, outer layer of skin.
Years of research have lead us to a better understanding of acne and how to manage and correct this condition. You will learn extensive information on theory, therapy and treatment.
Chemical Peel is a process in which a solution is applied to the skin to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new cells resulting in a younger, smoother complexion.
Facial Massage - Masque Application
Facial Massage aids the skin in it's ability to absorb nourishing oils and creams as it relaxes, relieves tension and restores energy to the body by stimulating circulation.
Masques firm, lift and tone the skin as well as remove impurities, moisturize, and some may also medicate to heal.
Lam Probe
The Lam Probe was developed by Dr. Hubert Lam, a Toronto-based medical esthetician who has been practicing for the last 25 years. It works on the principle of liquids being attracted to heat which is released by various probes.
The Lam Probe is used to remove small benign cosmetic irregularities on the skin, such as milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, cholesterol deposits, blood spots and dilated surface capillaries.
The Lam Probe utilizes a blending of radio and high frequency currents which arc onto the skin and attracts the moisture in these irregularities. This technology enables the esthetician to clear up troublesome problems without penetrating the skin surface or inducing trauma on the surrounding tissue, thus allowing for speedy healing and greater client satisfaction.
Treatments are very quick (some even within a few seconds) and may not even touch the skin's surface. Small skin tags or blood spots disappear immediately and hyper-pigmented areas such as liver or "age spots" take only a few seconds.
CryoProbe
The CryoProbe enables the esthetician to effectively remove unwanted cellular tissue while fibrous structures remain intact.
Cryotherapy is a preferred treatment for removal of hyperpigmentation, acne scaring, warts and other skin imperfections due to it's ease of use, excellent healing properties, and the relatively painless treatment it offers.
The CryoProbe offers innovative cryotherapy technology based upon the direct application of nitrous oxide (N2O) in liquid form on the problem skin area. The target receives fast, efficient freezing while avoiding damage to surrounding tissue.
Permanent Make-Up
Permanent makeup, also known as micro pigment implementation, promises to be the cosmetic breakthrough of the future. Natural, mineral pigments are inserted into the uppermost layer of skin by means of a very small, sterile, disposable needle. Unlike tattooing, permanent makeup creates a natural coloring of the skin and lasts for many years.
Areas that can be enhanced include the eyebrows, eyelids and lower lash line. Pigment can also be used to create eye shadow, and lips can be permanently outlined, making them appear professionally finished and slightly fuller. Permanent Makeup allows one the freedom to jog, swim and exercise without fear of smearing or smudging.
Eye Lash Extension Eye Lash extensions have been improved tremendously since the 1970's. Subtle individual hairs are glued onto the clients lash line and may be worn for as long as 2 months at a time.
Eyelash extension is ideal for people who have very short or thin eyelashes. The result is beautiful, lush, long eyelashes. No additional make-up is needed and the lashes can withstand showers and swimming.
